ArmInfo. 13-year-old Aren Nazaryan from Artsakh will be awarded the international "Hot Heart" prize in Moscow, established by the All-Russian public-state initiative.
As reported by the Union of Armenians of Russia, in 2023, during the forced deportation of Armenians from Artsakh, when Armenians fled under the threat of physical extermination, leaving their homes and graves, Aren spent 40 hours behind the wheel of a car, overcoming multi-kilometer traffic jams to take his grandparents out of Artsakh.
This story shocked everyone so much that it was decided to award Aren the international "Concord" prize, established by the Union of Armenians of Russia.
In December 2023, Aren and his mother came to Moscow, and he was awarded this prize in the "Hero of the People" nomination. The "Hot Heart" prize, which Aren will receive this time, is awarded to children and young people under 23 who have shown heroism in crisis situations, helped those in need, or provided selfless support
