Armenia`s National Assembly  adopted statement on  inadmissibility of  state power seizure

ArmInfo. On July 3, the National Assembly of Armenia adopted a statement drafted by the ruling <Civil Contract> faction  <On  Inadmissibility of State Power  Seizure Through Violence and the Protection of Democracy>.

The document notes that law enforcement officers uncovered an attempted terrorist attack in June 2025, and that <the Patriarchate must be freed from those who violate the spiritual atmosphere of the church>.  The statement was adopted by 57 votes, with no votes "against" or abstentions.

The opposition factions (the <Hayastan> and <I Have Honor> factions)  boycotted the session.
