Mikael Ajapahyan`s lawyers file an appeal against the decision to arrest

ArmInfo. The defense team of Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, the Primate of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, has filed an appeal against the decision to arrest him, as reported by the archbishop's team of lawyers. 

<Today, July 3, 2025, Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan's lawyers filed a  complaint for special review with the Court of Appeals against the  decision of judge Masis Melkonyan of the court of first instance to  apply a preventive measure in the form of detention on June 28, 2025.  The decision of the court of first instance was received by the  lawyers on July 1, 2025," the statement reads.
