Less than 10,000 out of approximately 150,000 internally displaced  persons  from Nagorno-Karabakh received citizenship  of Armenia

ArmInfo. There has been  a rise in interest among Artsakh residents in obtaining citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, as stated by  Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA) Arpine Sargsyan during a government session on July 3.

According to the head of the MIA, applications from internally  displaced persons are accepted in an extraordinary order.  Applications are also accepted at mobile service points and are  typically reviewed within a month, compared to the average of 4.5  months for standard situations.
