ArmInfo. Ardshinbank continues to advance its technological offerings by implementing innovative solutions and enhancing its digital environment. Every new service or solution at the bank is designed with security as a priority, since protecting customer data at all levels and maintaining their trust are paramount.
From June 16 to 18, 2025, the fourth CyberGen international conference took place at the Dilijan Research Center of the Central Bank, focusing on ways to make our digital lives more secure. Held as part of Cybersecurity Week, the conference was organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, the Information Systems Agency of the Republic of Armenia, the French University in Armenia, and the CyHub Armenia project of the “Enterprise Incubator” Foundation. The conference was followed by the BugBounty initiative, which provided both young and experienced cybersecurity specialists the opportunity to test and identify potential vulnerabilities in banking systems and applications before they could pose risks to customers.
What is BugBounty? It is a platform where pre-registered experts examine mobile banking, internet banking, and other digital services, attempting to detect vulnerabilities through real-world scenarios simulated in a controlled environment. This helps organizations strengthen their defenses. Ardshinbank not only took part in this important event but also proudly sponsored the BugBounty initiative.
As Komitas Stepanyan, Director of the Information Technologies and Cybersecurity Department of the Central Bank, noted: “Cybersecurity is not merely a technical issue. It is a critical component of financial stability that requires ongoing effort to address its challenges. BugBounty brings together cybersecurity specialists from various fields to identify vulnerabilities in online systems, enhance their protection, share experiences, and equip themselves with new professional knowledge.”
Hrachya Khachatryan, Head of the Information Security Department at Ardshinbank, emphasized: “Cybersecurity is always a top priority. We are continuously undergoing digital transformation and equipping the bank’s systems with the latest technologies. This not only improves the quality of our customer service but also introduces new risks that make initiatives like this invaluable. The insights gained will help us further strengthen the security of our mobile and internet banking systems and enhance the skills of our team.”
Ardshinbank remains committed to adopting modern technologies and improving security daily, as trust and a sense of safety are the foundation of any client’s relationship with a financial institution.
