Serzh Sargsyan didn`t want it either: Alen Simonyan on how the  authorities will achieve removal of Karekin II

ArmInfo.Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II will eventually be forced to vacate the patriarchal throne, as stated by the speaker of the Armenian parliament, Alen Simonyan, in a conversation with journalists on July 1.

<I ask, I urge him to do it. If this story drags on for a long time,  it will be disadvantageous for him, for our country. In the end, he  will have to leave his post. It's just a matter of time>, he said.

When asked how the authorities will achieve the removal of the  Catholicos, Simonyan first refrained, in his words, <to lay all the  cards on the table>, then stated that he personally <will fight,  convince, just like Prime Minister Pashinyan does every day>. <Serzh  Sargsyan also did not want (to leave his post). We'll see>, he noted.
