ArmInfo. On June 30, Chief of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Aram Ghazaryan received Vice- Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Bahram Taheri.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Vice-Ambassador congratulated Aram Ghazaryan on his appointment as Chief of Police, emphasizing that the meeting reflects the commitment to deepening cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Aram Ghazaryan, in turn, pointed out the importance of stable and partner relations formed between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, emphasizing that they are based on historical and friendly values. The Chief of Police confirmed his readiness to develop this cooperation.
The parties emphasized the need to further intensify ties between law enforcement agencies, as well as to make additional efforts aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the fight against transnational crime.
