He said that Iran has informed the relevant countries of relevant news reports, intelligence and assumptions on this matter.
"All neighboring countries, without exception, have assured us that they will not allow the Zionist regime to use their space or territory for aggressive actions against Iran," he added, Mehr reports. According to the Iranian diplomat, neighboring countries are certainly aware of their responsibilities and obligations, within the framework of good-neighborliness policy and international law.
"According to international law, the Iranian representative said, no country has the right to allow other countries to use its territory for malicious acts against a third country." Baghaei also mentioned that all concerned countries have "clearly and firmly" rejected the reports of their territory being misused against Iran and have assured Tehran that they will never give such permission in the future.
He emphasized that the matter is still under investigation, with the Iranian armed forces, as well as security and military authorities, closely monitoring the reports on the matter. "The Iranian Foreign Ministry is also conducting a serious investigating into these cases," Baghaei said.
