ArmInfo. Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan met with delegation of the Polish Prosecutor's Office in Dilijan on June 30.
According to the press service of the supervisory authority, the Polish delegation has arrived in Armenia to participate in a two-day high-level international conference on "Independence and Impartiality of Prosecutors in the Context of State Prosecution of Officials who have Committed Crimes: Corruption and Money Laundering". The event is scheduled to occur in Dilijan on July 1, 2025, in celebration of the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia and the Day of the Prosecutor's Office Worker.
The Prosecutor General noted that the agreement between Armenia and Poland on cooperation in combating crime, signed in Warsaw on September 6, 2004, is still in effect between the two countries. Anna Vardapetyan expressed gratitude for the implementation of about 85% of requests for legal assistance in criminal proceedings addressed to the competent authorities of Poland over the past 4 years. The Polish delegation expressed gratitude for the invitation and warm welcome and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation and relations with Armenia.
