RF embassy in Armenia recalls new rules for entering Russia 

ArmInfo. The Russian Embassy in Armenia reminds about the new rules for entry into the Russian Federation.

The diplomatic mission recalls that in the period from June 30, 2025  to June 30, 2026, an experimental procedure for entry / exit from the  Russian Federation for foreign citizens and stateless persons will be  introduced at all checkpoints across the state border of the Russian  Federation.

According to the introduced rules, foreign citizens and stateless  persons planning to enter the Russian Federation in a manner that  does not require a visa must, before such entry, undergo the  registration procedure in the Unified Authentication System and no  later than 72 hours before the planned entry into the Russian  Federation, submit an application for entry into the Russian  Federation in electronic form using the ruID mobile application (in  emergency cases - no later than 4 hours).

This procedure is mandatory for foreign citizens crossing the state  border of the Russian Federation under a visa-free regime, with the  exception of the following categories of foreign citizens: citizens  of the Republic of Belarus; holders of diplomatic and service  passports; foreign citizens and stateless persons under 6 years of  age.
