Lawyer: the prosecutor`s office acknowledged that police used  violence against Levon Kocharyan

ArmInfo.  After nearly two years, the prosecutor's office was finally forced to admit that  police had used violence against Levon Kocharyan during the  disobedience actions in September 2023. Lawyer Erik Aleksanyan wrote  on his Facebook page.

As the lawyer noted, the prosecutor's office indirectly acknowledged  that the violence was carried out by "red beret" Hrachik Khachatryan.  "Today we received a decision from the prosecutor stating that they  initially refused to initiate criminal prosecution against Hrachik  Khachatryan on the grounds that an further investigation is still  needed to  determine  the "correct" criminal assessment of his  actions. The above reasoning assumes that Hrachik Khachatryan has  committed a criminal act, and that it will take time  to adapt the  "correct article," Aleksanyan wrote.
