Armenian Prime Minister receives Georgian Interior Minister

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received Georgian Interior Minister Gela Geladze.

As reported by the Prime Minister's press service, Pashinyan welcomed  Geladze's visit to Armenia and congratulated him on his appointment  to a responsible position. He expressed hope that during Geladze's  tenure, cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two  countries would be more active and effective. The head of state  stressed that the government of the Republic of Armenia would make  every effort to achieve this.

Gela Geladze expressed gratitude for the reception and conveyed warm  greetings from Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to Prime  Minister Pashinyan. The Georgian Interior Minister emphasized the  significance of  the centuries-old friendship and strong cooperation  between the two countries in maintaining peace and stability in the  region.

The details of the discussions between the interior ministers of  Armenia and Georgia were presented. Issues related to bilateral  cooperation and common challenges were discussed. They also talked  about collaborating on migration,  implementing joint measures to  combat crime and drug trafficking, and reviewing drafts of new  documents for potential signing.
