ArmInfo. "We have not lost Nagorno-Karabakh, we have found the Republic of Armenia." Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement while addressing the parliament on June 19.
According to Pashinyan, many claim that Armenia has lost Nagorno-Karabakh. "I have thought a lot about this issue, and my conclusion is as follows: we have not lost Nagorno-Karabakh, we have found the Republic of Armenia," he said.
Pashinyan noted that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue has been used as a rope for many years to prevent the formation of the Republic of Armenia. "The Republic of Armenia is being formed, and I am more optimistic than ever about its future," he noted.
He also touched upon the criticism that the Republic of Armenia is not ready and is not preparing to confront regional threats, particularly, the potential consequences of the Iran-Israel conflict. " The Republic of Armenia has never been as prepared for international developments and possible regional problems as it is today," Pashinyan assured. Yerevan has reached this point as a result of a balanced and balancing foreign policy, dialogue with Ankara, and the peace process with Baku, he noted.
