Electric Network of Armenia can be quickly nationalized - premier 

ArmInfo. The time has come for the Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC to be nationalized.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan wrote  about this on his Facebook page.

He noted that the nationalization process will happen quickly. As a  justification for such a step, the Prime Minister pointed to the  statement of the head of the Tashir Group of Companies Samvel  Karapetyan, who the day before, defending the Church from attacks by  the authorities, noted that "he doesn't give a damn about them (the  authorities - ed.) and their electric networks."

In this regard, Nikol Pashinyan writes: "He says, I don't care about  them, about their ESA. In other words, these people didn't even  consider ESA theirs, and they don't care about this strategically  important institution, its consumers and employees. But if ESA  doesn't belong to them, then to whom? I think it's time to  nationalize the company. This will happen quickly. I instruct all ESA  employees to conscientiously fulfill their work duties. After  nationalization, this conscientiousness will be taken into account."

Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC was transferred to Tashir Group of  Companies in 2016. This happened at the numerous requests of the  former leaders of the country, and, in particular, the then Prime  Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan.
