Mother See of Etchmiadzin urges Armenian authorities to stop  Samvel  Karapetyan`s persecution immediately

ArmInfo.The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has condemned the persecution of benefactor Samvel  Karapetyan, carried out for political reasons, as  reported to ArmInfo by the chancery of the Mother See.

<It has just become known that shortly after expressing support for  the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), law enforcement agencies   attempted to arrest national benefactor Samvel Karapetyan, and are  currently conducting a search in his house.  We urge  the authorities  of the Republic of Armenia to stop these illegal actions immediately  >,  the statement says.
