Aram I monitoring situation in Armenian communies in Israel, Iran 

ArmInfo. Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I is monitoring the situation in the  Armenian communities of Iran and Jerusalem in light of the  Iranian-Israeli hostilities.

The statement of the Great House of Cilicia notes that the ongoing  hostilities between Iran and Israel have naturally caused serious  concern among the Armenian communities settled in both countries.

"Aram I was able to contact the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of  Tehran, His Grace Archbishop Sebouh Sargsyan and the leaders of the  Armenian community with difficulty on the morning of June 16 and  learned that the Armenian community was not harmed. He is closely  following the alarming developments through his religious and  community structures and leaders. As for the Armenian community in  Jerusalem and its environs, His Holiness is also closely monitoring  the security situation of the Armenian community," the statement  says.
