Armenian-Turkmen inter-MFA consultations  held in Yerevan

ArmInfo.  At the initiative of the Turkmen side, regular consular consultations between the  Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and  Turkmenistan were held in Yerevan.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry,  the Armenian delegation was headed by Arthur Petrosyan, the Head of  the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of  Armenia, the Turkmen delegation was headed by Dovletmurat Muratov,  the Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign  Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The agenda of the consultations included issues on the implementation  of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963;  cooperation between the sides within the framework of the Minsk  Convention of 1993 "On Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil,  Family and Criminal Matters", and the protection of the rights and  lawful interests of citizens.
