Armenian people has strength, will and wisdom to overcome current  crisis - ARF

ArmInfo.The Armenian people have the strength, wisdom and will to overcome the current crisis and  build a dignified future. This is stated in the statement of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party, adopted following the results of the 28th general meeting of the Supreme Body of the party.

As noted in the statement, the ARF is determined to continue the  struggle to protect the collective rights and restore the sovereignty  of the Armenian people. The document emphasizes that the regular  meeting of the Supreme Body of the ARF of Armenia was convened in the  context of serious geopolitical and internal threats to the Republic  of Armenia and all Armenians. In particular, the occupation of  Artsakh and the ethnic cleansing that took place, the systemic crisis  caused by the anti-national policy of the Armenian authorities, have  called into question the future of the Armenian statehood.

"The regime, together with hostile forces, continues to persecute the  forces defending national interests and values, divide the nation,  sow artificial antagonisms in Armenia-Diaspora relations, attack the  Armenian Apostolic Church and spread an atmosphere of despair in  order to destroy possible centers of national resistance. The current  administration, with its policies, has placed all Armenians before a  destructive dilemma: war or capitulation. In the current situation,  the historical mission and main task of national forces and  individuals is to liberate the Armenian people from this destructive  dilemma through a nationwide struggle and establish a just and  lasting peace. This is possible only with the removal of the current  authorities," the statement reads.

Its authors emphasize that the ARF Dashnaktsutyun rejects the  defeatist policies of the current authorities and declares the  strategic goal of building a new high-quality national state and  protecting Armenian identity. "The imperative for this should be the  unification of the pan-Armenian potential around the agenda of  preserving the Armenian identity and Armenian statehood, the urgent  reconstruction of the defense and security systems of the RA Armed  Forces taking into account the existing challenges, the formation of  a new foreign policy doctrine aimed at ensuring the security of the  RA, in accordance with the new geopolitical situation, defending the  rights of the Armenians of Artsakh who were subjected to forced  immigration and ethnic cleansing, including the right to collective  and safe return to Artsakh and self- determination. The ARF is  determined to continue the struggle of national resistance in defense  of the collective rights and restoration of the sovereignty of the  Armenian people. The General Assembly calls on our compatriots to  unite around the agenda of the national struggle, reject despair and  become accomplices to victory.
