ArmInfo.Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan confirmed that Azerbaijan has not yet shared its position and the findings of its investigations on border incidents with the Armenian side. He made this statement on June 13 in a conversation with journalists within the framework of the APRI Armenia forum.
Grigoryan recalled that Armenia has proposed to Azerbaijan the development of a mechanism for joint arms control and the investigation of incidents. According to him, the Armenian side has submitted an official document outlining its position and the results of the investigations of the incidents, including information confirming that there were no violations on the Armenian side.
The Secretary of the Security Council also noted that certain discussions were held with Azerbaijan on this topic. "We have asked the Azerbaijani side to provide data on the incidents, their position on the violations, and we have sent our information," Grigoryan emphasized. He added that the Armenian side also provided Azerbaijan with video footage of violations by the Azerbaijani side. "We also expect information from them on their assessment of our alleged violations, despite the fact that we have already stated that they do not exist," Grigoryan concluded.
