Armenian delegation raises issue of Armenian POWs during meeting with  CoE Secretary General

ArmInfo.  Ruben Rubinyan, Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia and head of the Armenian delegation to PACE, along with other members of the  delegation, met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe,  Alain Berset, on June 11.

According to the press service of the National Assembly, the meeting  included discussions  about the current Armenia-Azerbaijan peace  treaty process within the context of regional developments.  The  delegation also raised concerns about prisoners of war who are being  unlawfully detained by Azerbaijan, as well as missing persons. They  emphasized the importance of the Council of Europe's support in  addressing these issues.
