RA Investigative Committee returns 3.8-fold of last year`s amount  since Jan 2025 

ArmInfo. The amount of damage recovered in the first five months of 2025, within the framework of various criminal cases, was 3.8 times higher than the amount returned  for the entire 2024.

According to the Investigative Committee of Armenia, within the  framework of criminal proceedings investigated by the Main Department  for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the  Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, 3 billion 39  million 968 thousand 646 drams of damage was returned during  January-May 2025.

Of this, compensation for damage caused to the state amounted to 2  billion 934 million 94 thousand 642 drams, to communities - 4 million  500 thousand drams, and compensation for damage caused to individuals  - 374 thousand drams.

As the Investigative Committee recalled, this figure is approximately  3.8 times higher than the amount of damages compensated for the whole  of 2024.
