Armenian president to travel to France 

ArmInfo.  On June 9-11, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan will be on a working visit to the French city of Nice, where he will participate in the third UN  Conference on the Ocean. This was reported by the presidential  administration.

According to the source, Vahagn Khachaturyan will deliver a speech at  the opening of the conference.

A number of bilateral meetings with heads of various states and  partners participating in the conference are also planned during the  visit to discuss issues on the agenda in the field of environmental  protection and international cooperation.

The third UN Conference on the Ocean will be held in Nice from June 9  to 13. It is designed to assist in achieving Sustainable Development  Goal 14 "Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine  resources for sustainable development." Ten years after COP21 and the  adoption of the Paris Agreement, the third Ocean Conference aims to  bring together UN Member States, specialized agencies, civil society  and the private sector, and international donors.
