Armenia joins 100th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin`s legendary film  `The Gold Rush`

ArmInfo.  This year, Charlie Chaplin's legendary film "The Gold Rush" turns 100 years old. In more than 70 countries, this event will be celebrated by showing the  restored version of the film in 4K format. Armenia also joins this  initiative and on June 26, at 19:00, the film will be shown  simultaneously in 5 cities of our country: Yerevan (MOSCOW cinema),  Gyumri (OLYMPIC Cinema), Vanadzor - (KINOLORI), Kapan (S'UNIQUE  Cinema) and Kajaran (KAJARAN Cinema). 

The event is organized by NGO <KAZM> with the support of the French  film company engaged in the production and distribution of MK2 films  (mk2 editions) and is held as part of the global screening of the  anniversary edition of the film. The premiere of the updated version  took place at the 78th Cannes Film Festival in the Cannes Classics  section and now the Armenian public will have a unique opportunity to  enjoy Chaplin's masterpiece on the big screen - in a new quality.
