Education initiative of Armenian premier`s wife sponsored by  taxpayers 

ArmInfo.  The initiative of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's wife "Learning is fashionable" is being implemented with budget money. This was stated by the Chief of Staff  of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan  on June 6 at the parliamentary hearings on the execution of the state  budget for 2024.

"This event of the Prime Minister, one of his priority programs, is  being implemented with funds from the Prime Minister's Office,"  Harutyunyan said.

The initiator of the "Learning is fashionable" movement is the wife  of the Armenian Prime Minister, Executive Director of the "My Step"  Foundation Anna Hakobyan. Her goal is to make education the number  one trend in public life, motivate self-education, learning among  teachers themselves, and change the social environment so that  education becomes fashionable. As part of this initiative, the  foundation invites people who are actively involved in public life  and who shape opinions on social and media platforms.

Some of these meetings are held with the participation of the Prime  Minister himself, who gives lectures to the participants. At them,  the Prime Minister also promotes the ideology of the .
