The political scientist recalled the prime minister's attacks on the  Armenian Apostolic Church and its leader, Catholicos of All Armenians  Garegin II. Now the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the  Republic of Armenia Vardan Oskanyan and former President of the  Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan have become the target of  attacks from the head of state. "He says whatever he wants, without  the minimum norm of etiquette, continuing to be the same person he  was seven years ago. If he needed to, he could easily choose another  target, say, a hypothetical Henrikh Mkhitaryan. With the same  enthusiasm, he could address the former midfielder of the Armenian  national team with expressions like "Who is he? A footballer below  average level, let the investigator find out how many goals he didn't  score, how many bad passes he made, a person who doesn't understand  anything about football, what is he doing in Italy, his father is  actually a Russian spy, since he played during the Soviet Union," the  political scientist noted.

He added that the prime minister could have expressed all this. "What  would have happened next? A group of 5-6 members of the ruling Civil  Contract party, in a state of human default, would have immediately  supported him, and a couple of ministers would have pointed out that  the Prime Minister was thus raising the issue of reforms in the  sports sector. And, on the contrary, a sharply negative reaction  would have followed from several normal, adequate people, like how is  this possible, that he is "using all of us." The reaction of normal  people to all these manifestations is also unchanged, therefore  equally ineffective. Then life would have continued in the same  spirit, until the next subject of criticism, with other names and  other topics. And we simply do not have the will to change the  scenario and the content of the answers every time. It is impossible  to fix Nikol. Moreover, when you say that this is an outrage, he  responds by declaring that he received a vote of confidence from the  people in 2021. In order for this vulgar scenario not to be repeated  endlessly, changes are needed in our work, perception, management and  rhetoric," the political scientist believes.

He recalled that for the past six months, the same topic has been  discussed in political circles that Nikol Pashinyan's rating is very  low, and under these conditions he has no chance of being elected.  "This is true, but I have warned and warn everyone that Nikol draws  one conclusion from this: to change the conditions, including all  illegal and ugly actions: arrests, discreditation, initiation of  cases, slander, everything. Rumors are spreading in the press that  they want to initiate criminal cases against a group of deputies,  they are constantly being followed, recorded, filmed, etc. Of course,  they can do this, but one thing is obvious to everyone: Nikol is  strong only because his opponents are weak. In order to break the  seven-year scenario, the content of the struggle of the rejecting  society must undergo radical changes. The general public, we have all  become a society consuming mental garbage, which cannot get out of  this nightmare. Society must be given new content, a new dream, if  you like. The organizational content and structure of the struggle  must be radically changed. And this is quite possible," Vahe  Hovhannisyan believes.
