ArmInfo. The coordination of the full text of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a great achievement in itself, despite the existing issues, as stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan in the National Assembly on June 5.
According to him, since the announcement of the agreement on the text of the document, the level of security in Armenia has somewhat increased. Nevertheless, according to the Minister, there is always a danger of escalation of the situation from an institutional point of view, "This danger will persist until the peace treaty between the countries is signed," the head of the MFA said, commenting on the previous message received from the US State Department regarding the potential escalation of the conflict.
Mirzoyan emphasized that the draft peace treaty between the two states will also resolve all remaining issues, including Baku's concerns. When asked why the Azerbaijani side continues to shell the territory of Armenia, Mirzoyan found it difficult to answer. According to him, in any case, Yerevan's stance on this issue remains the same: to establish a joint commission to investigate all cases of shelling.
