Delegation of RF Federation Council arriving in Yerevan 

ArmInfo.Today, a parliamentary delegation of the Russian Federation headed by the Chairperson of the  Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko arrives in Yerevan on a two-day visit.

As reported by the press service of the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia, the 39th session of the interparliamentary  commission on cooperation between the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian  Federation will be held within the framework of the visit.

According to Armenian media, a representative delegation of Russian  parliamentarians, as well as two governors of Russian regions, will  arrive in Armenia. Valentina Matviyenko will visit the  Tsitsernakaberd complex, where she will lay flowers at the memorial  to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, after which she will visit  the Mother Armenia memorial complex, where she will pay tribute to  the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War. The head of  the Russian delegation is scheduled to meet with RA Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan and RA National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan.  Earlier, the RA National Assembly Speaker told journalists that he  would personally meet the Russian delegation.
