ArmInfo. The work carried out within the framework of the visa liberalization process between Armenia and the European Union was the subject of a conversation between the RA Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan and the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.
As reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Minister, welcoming Maragos, pointed to the close and effective bilateral cooperation, which is constantly expanding in various fields.
In turn, the head of the EU delegation expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, confirming the EU's support for the reforms.
During the meeting, the work carried out within the framework of the visa liberalization process between Armenia and the European Union was discussed, including the process of legislative reforms and the introduction of biometric passports.
The upcoming visit of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Brussels and the agenda items planned to be discussed during the visit were also discussed.
The parties also touched upon current cooperation programs in the areas of police and rescue services and the provision of new EU assistance.
