Corruption Prevention Commission  announces its stance on  incident  involving the  Foreign Minister and a journalist

ArmInfo.  The Corruption Prevention Commission has conducted  a semantic analysis on the words and expressions used by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan during his altercation with a journalist on March 13, 2025.  The Commission has determined that Ararat  Mirzoyan's statements were not overtly offensive. Their conclusion  stated that his words were a gentle reproach aimed at assessing the  journalists' actions or words without  intending to humiliate their  personal dignity. 

<Ararat Mirzoyan's reaction, in terms of content, intonation and  character was consonant or in line with the behavior of journalists,  taking into account the tense social situation surrounding  Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish relations, and the state's  policy in this area. The journalist's question posed outside of the  interview, was provocative in nature and was seen as political in  nature by Ararat Mirzoyan >, the commission's report on the results  of the analysis of media publications for the first quarter of 2025  says.
