Law-enforcers prevent sale of 2rg of drugs via Telegram

As part of the preliminary investigation of a criminal case investigated by the Investigative  Committee, employees of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia have uncovered a criminal group that attempted to sell methamphetamine in especially large quantities (1.9 kg) via Telegram.

As reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee,  public criminal prosecution has been instituted against 3 members of  the criminal organization under Part 1 of Article 319 of the Criminal  Code of the Republic of Armenia (participation in a criminal  organization), paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 3 of Article 393 (illegal  trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their  preparations or their equivalents (analogues) or their derivatives by  a criminal organization in especially large quantities for the  purpose of sale or illegal sale) and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 3 of  Article. 44-393 (illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic  substances, their preparations or their equivalents (analogues) or  their derivatives by a criminal organization in especially large  quantities for the purpose of sale or illegal sale).

The latter was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of  detention.

The criminal case was sent to the supervising prosecutor with an  indictment.
