Edmon Marukyan: After the change of power, I will reassess the text  of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. The peace treaty text agreed upon with Azerbaijan does not align with the interests of the Republic of Armenia. Former Ambassador-at-Large and leader of the Bright Armenia party Edmon Marukyan, adheres to a similar viewpoint.

According to him, several days ago, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  voiced all the theses of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in his  speech.  Pashinyan justified himself by responding to each accusation  from the enemy, repeatedly emphasizing that after the peace treaty is  signed, all of Azerbaijan's fears will be completely dispelled. 

Marukyan added that a document recognizing the sovereignty of  Armenia, but failing to address fears, does not serve the national  and state interests of the country. "After the change of power, I  will reassess the text of the peace treaty,"  Edmon Marukyan noted.
