ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan once again unleashed insults and threats on the clergy of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) on his Facebook page.
"Mikael Ajapahian (Archbishop of the AAC - ed.) says: "Let one of these braggarts try to live a month without a wife," the Prime Minister noted, adding that these blasphemers do not even observe Lent. "All clergy who have violated their vow of celibacy must leave the clergy. There is no other option," the head of the Armenian government wrote.
He also noted that Mikael Ajapahian's statement could not have been made without the knowledge and permission of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II. Otherwise, according to the Prime Minister, Ajapahian and others would have been deposed long ago. "The relevant structures of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin must study Ajapahian's statement and provide the public with comprehensive explanations," Pashinyan wrote.
In another post, he recalled the great scripture: "Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make straight Your way before me, for there is no truth in their mouth, and their heart is vain."
