ArmInfo. The fifth Armenia-France decentralized cooperation forum will be held at the Goris State Drama Theater named after V. Vagharshyan on June 2-3.
As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the choice of Goris as the venue for the forum is attributed to the strategic significance of Syunik and the cooperation between the Syunik region and the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France. The event features a plenary session, that will be broadcast live, as well as four panel discussions and a closing ceremony.
According to the source, mayors, regional delegations and parliamentarians will be among the guests arriving in Armenia from France to participate in the forum. The chairmen of the Armenia-France Friendship Groups in the National Assembly and Senate of France Laurent Wauquiez and Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, and the head of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, Fabrice Pannekoucke, will arrive in Armenia.
