ArmInfo. The regular Armenian-United Kingdom defense consultations were held at the Armenian Defense Ministry. As reported by the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry, during the consultations, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Artur Yeroyan presented the transformation process of the RA Army to his British colleagues, touched upon priority areas.
Issues related to regional and international security and cooperation in the defense sector were also discussed. The parties also discussed in detail the implementation of the agreements reached during the previous consultations, summarized the results of the implementation of the cooperation program. Both sides expressed their willingness to expand cooperation in a number of areas of interest.
At the end of the consultations, Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the RA Ministry of Defense, and Christopher Key, Director of Policy Affairs for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the UK Ministry of Defense, signed the cooperation program for 2025-2026.
