ArmInfo. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the plan for the start of infrastructure works planned for the Academic Town was discussed.
As reported by the press service of the Prime Minister, representatives of the Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers Company, which designed the master plan of the Academic City, presented the planned activities for the physical infrastructure works according to the schedule. In particular, they relate to water supply, gas supply, electricity supply, transport and other infrastructure. The design works of railway, bus, car routes, as well as bicycle paths were presented. The socio-economic component of the Academic City, strategic economic development and the framework vision for urban development were discussed.
Representatives of Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers answered questions of interest to the meeting participants and provided clarifications on the organization of the work and the upcoming steps. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the strategic importance of the Academic City program and attached importance to the effective implementation of the planned work. The Prime Minister instructed the representatives of the responsible departments to form a working group with the participation of Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers for the coordinated implementation of infrastructure work.
