ArmInfo. On May 27, Sargis Khandanyan, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Committee on Foreign Relations, met with Chairman of the Czech Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Pavel Fischer.
As reported by the NA press service, during the meeting, Sargis Khandanyan highly appreciated the parliamentary cooperation between Armenia and the Czech Republic, which has developed in recent years. In this context, the Chairman of the NA Committee emphasized the importance of the active work of parliamentary friendship groups. However, Sargis Khandanyan also noted that there is potential for expanding cooperation in several areas.
The parties also discussed the importance of bilateral cooperation within the framework of deepening the Armenia-European Union partnership. Sarkis Khandanyan highly praised the Czech Republic's support for liberalizing the EU visa regime for Armenian citizens. Regional issues were also addressed, with both parties emphasizing the significance of establishing long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
