ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanovic exchanged views on cooperation with the EU and cooperation within the European Political Community at a meeting in Yerevan.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the meeting took place within the framework of the Yerevan Dialogue international forum.
Mirzoyan thanked Ivanovic for accepting the invitation to participate in the forum, emphasizing that active mutual visits testify to the active political dialogue between Armenia and Montenegro and great readiness to expand cooperation.
Following up the meeting held in Yerevan in March, the parties discussed the implementation of initiatives aimed at developing cooperation in various fields. The results recorded in the field of tourism were noted with satisfaction, and high technology, information technology, healthcare and the economy were highlighted as areas with development potential. The interlocutors also touched upon efforts aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus, in the context of which Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of signing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
