ArmInfo. Newly appointed Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Armenia Kubanychbek Bokontayev (residence - Moscow) presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of the country Mnatsakan Safaryan. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
The Deputy Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic mission, expressing hope that he will make a significant contribution to strengthening relations between Armenia and Kyrgyzstan and expanding the bilateral agenda.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of interstate relations, emphasizing the need to take joint measures to fully realize the existing potential in various areas.
The parties noted with mutual satisfaction the intensification of cooperation between the foreign ministries and legislative bodies this year.
Safaryan presented Ambassador Bokontayev with Armenia's vision for achieving sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, as well as the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative developed by the government. The parties also discussed regional and international events of mutual interest.
