


ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot. He welcomed the visit of the French Foreign Minister to Armenia and highlighted that the relations between the two countries are at a high level. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
Nikol Pashinyan noted that deep and strong bilateral cooperation in various fields is of great importance, this stance was reaffirmed during his recent meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Tirana. Jean-Noel Barrot emphasized France's continued support for the development and capacity building of Armenia. The French Foreign Minister noted that his country is ready to further deepen and expand relations with Armenia, including in the political and economic spheres. Jean-Noel Barrot also congratulated the Prime Minister of Armenia on hosting the upcoming European Political Community Summit in Armenia next year.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to infrastructure development, investment attraction and implementation of new joint programs. Views were exchanged on regional processes, including the latest developments in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement. Pashinyan once again emphasized the commitment of the Armenian government to the peace agenda.
