ArmInfo. Following talks in Yerevan, Foreign Ministers of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and France Jean-Noel Barrot signed a Declaration of Intent.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the document envisages holding annual political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, training of diplomats, and cooperation in combating misinformation. The ministers also signed a protocol between the Government of Armenia and the Government of France on amendments to the Agreement on operations of the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Proparco Company to extend the coverage of the agreement on Expertise France, envisaging the latter's activities in Armenia aimed to promote capacity-building of local authorities, government bodies and state institutions.
It was also noted that in the presence of Mirzoyan and Barrault, Acting Director of the Enterprise Armenia Investment Support Fund Gohar Galyan and French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies (on behalf of Business France) signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Enterprise Armenia Foundation and the French company Business France.
