On May 23, RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the Regional Director of the French Development Agency (FDA) Mathieu Vasseur, as reported by the press service of the RA government. The meeting was also attended by Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia.
The Deputy Prime Minister commended the ADF for its multi-sectoral cooperation with Armenia. Tigran Khachatryan highlighted their support for RA government reform program and infrastructure development. During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on mutual interests, including the construction of the Vedi reservoir and other ongoing projects. Emphasizing the importance of ongoing cooperation for developing irrigation infrastructure and agriculture, special attention was paid to the "Integrated Water Resources and Agriculture Development in Armenia" program An agreement was reached to hold the planned annual consultations with the FAR in the summer of 2025 to review strategic cooperation.
