Arin-Berd street to be completely renovated - Erebuni community head 

ArmInfo.  The head of the Erebuni administrative district, Hakob Balayan, who arrived at the scene of the protest near a place called "TEC Circle", promised to solve the  problem of potholes on Arin-Berd Street as soon as possible. 

According to him, the problem will be partially solved in a week, but  in the near future the road will undergo major repairs. Hakob Balayan  noted that the project for major repairs of the road is in the  development stage. It provides for the introduction of wastewater  removal systems and asphalting according to the most modern  requirements. "It should be understood that in this case we are  talking about medium repairs and major repairs. During medium  repairs, work will be carried out to fill the holes that have formed,  but this method will be temporary, since underground wastewater leads  to subsidence of the land. For this reason, the issue of major  repairs is being discussed. Immediately after the development of  design and estimate documentation, a tender will be held, and the  winning company will begin implementing the program. In all  likelihood, this will happen this year. I promise you that in the  implementation of the project, we will have a majorly repaired road,"  the head of the capital's administrative district assured.

On May 23, the protesters blocked traffic, demanding that the  Arin-Berd road be repaired. After a meeting with the head of the  district, they agreed to unblock the highway.
