ArmInfo. On May 22, at its regular meeting, the Armenian government made a decision to privatize the state shares of the Republican Center for Speleotherapy (Health Salt Caves) CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia through a tender.
As stated in the explanatory note to the document, According to the draft, the authorized capital of the company is 15,985,000 drams, which is divided into 3,197 ordinary shares with a par value of 5,000 drams each.
The center is located on the territory of the Avan salt mine on the northern outskirts of Yerevan, operates at a depth of 235 m, in natural salt quarries, in an underground space of 4,000 sq. m, which includes wards, a foyer, patient rooms, bathrooms and other auxiliary premises. The CJSC is the only one in the entire territory of the Republic of Armenia, taking into account the specifics of its activities, and is capable of serving 60/sixty/ patients at the same time. It is noted that 70% of the sale price of the shares of the CJSC should be directed to the state budget of the Republic of Armenia, and 30% - to the budget fund of the relevant community.
