ArmInfo.On May 21, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
As reported by the government press service, welcoming the guests, the Prime Minister touched upon the current state of Armenian-Russian relations. Sergey Lavrov expressed gratitude for the reception, emphasizing Russia's willingness to develop relations with Armenia. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the Armenia- Russia bilateral agenda, cooperation within the framework of the EAEU, as well as regional and international security issues.
Meanwhile, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov highlighted the joint celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War during the meeting. "We appreciate your personal presence at the Parade on Red Square and the subsequent events. We noted how this date is celebrated in Armenia itself, including the "Garden of Memory", the "Immortal Regiment" and many other events," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
