ArmInfo.On May 21, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, who is in Armenia for an official visit.
As reported by the government press service, the Prime Minister emphasized that Armenian-Iranian relations are developing at a dynamic pace, based on natural bilateral interests. Nikol Pashinyan noted the political will of the authorities of the two countries in expanding and deepening cooperation. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of fully implementing existing opportunities and taking consistent steps in this regard.
Aziz Nasirzade conveyed warm greetings from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Prime Minister Pashinyan and noted that Iran is interested in developing multilateral cooperation with Armenia. He once again emphasized Iran's unconditional support for Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The interlocutors discussed the agenda of Armenian-Iranian cooperation and the importance of ensuring regional security and stability.
