ArmInfo. A Center for Data Collection and Processing and a Seismic Geodynamic Network will open at the A. Nazarov Institute of Geophysics and Engineering Seismology (Gyumri) as part of the Armenian-Chinese cooperation. The grand opening ceremony will take place on May 22, during which the capabilities of the seismic geodynamic network and the Center for Data Collection and Processing will be presented. Following this, the Institute of Geophysics of the China Earthquake Administration will sign a memorandum of cooperation with the A. Nazarov Institute of Geophysics and Engineering Seismology in the field of seismology, earthquake monitoring, seismic hazard and risk assessment.
