As reported by the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the second earthquake with a magnitude of 2.8 occurred the day before, on May 20 at 20:30 local time, 10 km southeast of the village of Bavra in the border zone of the Armenian-Georgian border. At the epicenter, the strength of the tremors was 3-4 points.
The earthquake with a magnitude of 2-3 points was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh and Ashotsk in the Shirak region of the republic.
The first tremors were recorded by the Service the day before at 10:11 local time.
