Artsakh Union, NKR Ombudsman plan to defend property rights of  Artsakh people in international instances

ArmInfo.The Artsakh Union, along with the Ombudsman of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR,) Gegham  Stepanyan, is initiating the collection of data on apartments and houses that were destroyed or appropriated by the Azerbaijani authorities in occupied Artsakh, for international legal processes. Artak Beglaryan, head of the Artsakh Union public organization and former NKR Ombudsman, announced this on his Facebook page.

In this regard, he called on the residents of Artsakh to provide  information on and instances of demolition or appropriation of their  housing and to fill out the questionnaire posted below.  He also  noted that court decisions may take years to be reached, and the  possible results could involve the return of Artsakh people,  protection of their property, compensation for their lost property  and other related matters.
