Pashinyan receives newly appointed Ambassador of China

ArmInfo.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's  Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia, Li Xinwei.  As reported by the press service of the Prime Minister, Pashinyan congratulated Li Xinwei on assuming the post of Ambassador and wished him success  in further developing and expanding relations between Armenia and China. He expressed hope that during Li Xinwei's tenure, concrete results will be recorded in bilateral relations.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and  emphasized that he would make every effort to give a new impetus to  bilateral cooperation and develop trade, economic and cultural ties  between Armenia and China.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of implementing joint  programs in  economy and tourism, including the increasing the number  of direct flights. They also reflected on the organizing of mutual  high- level visits, and cooperation within  international  organizations. An exchange of views took place on the Armenian  government's Crossroads of Peace initiative and its principles.
