ArmInfo. The second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, does not consider impeaching the current Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, to be a realistic scenario. "I have not heard anyone express the opinion that impeachment is a realistic scenario. Even the initiators of this process are not confident in its success. I am a pragmatic person and not interested in pursuing a process with zero chance of success," the politician noted in an interview with several Armenian media outlets.
When asked whether he and his political force, represented by the "Armenia" bloc, are ready to form a coalition with other opposition political forces in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia to prevent Pashinyan from taking power, Kocharyan gave an affirmative answer. "If there is a need to form a coalition to get rid of this government, I don't think we will have any other choice. But I don't see the possibility of going to the elections together," the politician noted, not ruling out the possibility of holding early parliamentary elections in the country.
